My first job was coding in C as a signalling engineer for a small telecom company that was bought by a big telecom company. Moved to a large computer storage company, then to advertising and eventually, to the banking world. Developed a front end for foreign countries to place orders on US exchanges (seems odd that there was a time when it was considered ground breaking). Found myself caching real time stock data for the first company to offer it to the home investor. That experience led me to Wall Street where I spent years as CTO of a small research firm incorporating proprietary algorithms for a retail stock picking platform. I've been an independent consultant for the past 20 yrs, mostly referral based.

After 15 yrs in NYC, my partner in crime (wife Carrie) and I decided it was time for some warm weather. We moved to Miami 15 yrs ago and haven't looked back. Fishing, biking, tennis and the beach take up most of my free time. The rest is spent tinkering in the yard.
